FMH Housing makes permanent rental housing affordable for the homeless through the use of state and federal grants and community contributions to provide rental subsidies at scattered sites throughout the greater Grand Traverse region, assisting people who have special needs and very low income. The supportive services vary but are always designed to help the formerly homeless individual experience success and achieve housing stability. The “support” assures access for the tenant to flexible and individualized services – clinical, medical benefit advocacy, daily living skill development, educational, vocational and more.
